The historic Lavonia Depot, located at 1269 East Main Street, will be temporarily closed for repairs over the next several weeks as the City of Lavonia invests in improvements to preserve this beloved landmark. After 113 years, the Depot will receive a new roof and insulation, ensuring its longevity for generations to come.
During this time, the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) & Main Street office will temporarily relocate to the Lavonia Ag Building at 57 Hartwell Road. Please note that there will be limited access to records during the transition.
